SAIC School Mission

The mission of Saint Anthony – Immaculate Conception School, a Catholic elementary school in San Francisco’s Mission District, is to empower students from diverse backgrounds to grow in wholeness in the image of Jesus Christ. The partnership between school staff, parish and families, the primary educators, is focused on helping students develop their God-given gifts and talents through a rich academic program, a dynamic community of believers, and commitment to service and worship.

    First Lego League

    Teams are forming now!  In the meantime students are practicing programming skills during technology periods!

    LEGO Planters

    2nd Grade has been studying about plants.  They discovered "air plants" that didn't need soil to survive.  We make planters out of Lego's and planted some air plants to decorate their classroom.

    First Tech Challenge

    We are eagerly awaiting the challenge to be released Saturday. Our first offical team meeting is Monday, September 9. In the meantime our builders are preparing by building a minibot.

  • Announcing SAIC 1:1 iPad Program

    All students in Grades 2 - 8 are issued their own iPad!
    SAIC launched a 1:1 iPad program for Grades 2-8.   All of our students will have their own iPads for academic work in school. Grades 1 and 2 are 2:1.  The iPad is an effective educational tool that enhances learning for our students.
