Thank you for your interest in St. Anthony-Immaculate Conception School! SAIC is a welcoming school community that has offered a high-quality education in San Francisco’s Mission District since 1894. Below is the process to apply for enrollment in our school.
Come visit our school
Schedule a visit to tour the school. See our students and teachers in action. Talk to students, staff and parents. Our students love guests and are always happy to talk about what they’re learning. After the tour, we’ll give you an informational/application packet and ask you for your contact information. We can add you to our email list so you can receive regular updates and our weekly newsletter. At this time we will have a current family contact you to follow up and answer any questions you might have about the school or application process.
Dolphin for a Day
Be a Dolphin for the Day! Spend the day visiting the school, getting to know the teachers and fellow classmates. Our Dolphin for a Day allows students to see firsthand the quality education SAIC offers and positive school environment that we have. We can accommodate two additional students a day in each classroom. The day starts at 8:00 am in the schoolyard with our morning assembly and then students will proceed to the classrooms. The visit will end at 1:00 pm, after lunch time. For more information, please contact the school at (415) 648-2008 or email us at email@example.com. Dolphin for a Day request form.
Complete the Application
Complete the paper application and turn it in to the School Office. Be sure to attach all of the required documentation, including birth certificate, baptismal certificate, immunization records, standardized test scores and transcripts (for children entering grades 1-8), clergy recommendation form, financial aid application and the non-refundable $35.00 application fee. All students who apply for enrollment will be tested for social and academic readiness for the grade in which they wish to enroll. The students and family will also be interviewed by the principal or a designee.
The families will receive a letter from the principal informing them of the decision within a week of the testing and interview. If the student has been accepted, the family will then need to compete the registration forms included with the acceptance letter. Families will need to submit the registration form and fee within one week of being accepted. Welcome to the SAIC family!
