VISION OF
HOPE
The Dominican Sisters of Mission San Jose are
committed to teaching the young and the poor, offering hope and
empowerment through the best quality Catholic education possible. The
Sisters provide educational leadership in 22 schools. Seven are inner-city
elementary schools, serving more than 2,000 students on eight campuses:
three in San Francisco's Mission District, three in East Los Angeles, and
two in South Central Los Angeles. In 1995 the Dominican Congregation established Vision of Hope to perpetuate ongoing financial support for their inner-city schools. The
mission of Vision of Hope is to ensure the quality, affordability and
vibrant future of these inner-city schools, the children, and the
communities they serve.
